Allen was off within minutes and this made our win with 21 players full of merit. Ball would be the likely in you'd think if he's right but it's been 6 weeks....so if not him then who? Thoughts?

Birss would be the obvious choice.

Dissapointed for the young bloke. Will play a big part of our forward line in '09.

Obviously was going at 110% to do the injury he did, and that's all you can ask for from a young player in a final. Could also see the hunger in Armo's eyes whenever he got near it.

saw birss out on the ground in full kit before the ball was bounced ...thought that there must have been another late change.........

commentators on the radio said that Birss was out there warming up because even at that late stage Lenny had a doubt over him. AFL officials spotted it early and made Birss come off.

It's unlucky for him and will become a major blow if Kosi does get suspended as he'd be the player who'd fill his roleup forward.

Birss would be the obvious inclusion I'd think. Did anyone else see him in the warm-up?

Yeah I thought I saw him out there... didnt see Allen at the time though, thought the scoreboard was wrong when they said Ball out, Allen in.

Speaking of Allen... what did he do to himself?

I cant remember seeing him all game.

i sat there and counted the players on the ground about 4 times and every time i got 23! i was wondering what the heck we were doing and then birss ran off!
