Raph was superb all night. Read the play beautifully.

He and Gilbert were one of the main reasons why the filth were next to useless inside 50m.

If they can bring this kind of form into the prelim, we're a chance to make it to the big kahuna.

Both were superb tonight and what's pleasing is there both starting to grow into the roles they'll hopefully play in the future.

Gilbert played his best game of his career but for the first real time showed real genuine talent playing as more of a Key Position Back rather than a running flanker.

Agree with most of the above.

Raph's best game ever.
I don't feel so nervous now when he gets the ball.

And Gilbert has stepped up a level.
He will be a superstar in two years time !

Gilbert
5 Contested Marks (Game high)
11 Contested Possessions (Game high)

Those stats really tell the story, great game by Gilbo.

Called it early to a mate that this was potentially going to be Gilberts best game for us, even though he had turned a couple over.

He just kept getting better and I maintain my stance, it turned out to be his best game I think.

Blokes like Gilbo, Raph, Jimmy Gwilt, these are the ones that will make the difference over the next two weeks.

Notable too with Gilbert that his kicking was by far his best for the year too...

Gilbo played up the ground a bit also, had some runs on the wing, and hit gram with a 55m kick alone in the goal square to ice the game!

Still shanks a few kicks here and there, but by gosh he is a talent.

Has amazing athleticism, is a great mark and tackler! I wish we could play him in the wing more...he is so fast...
