Prelim tix

Post: # 643659Post Sainter »

I usually book tickets on the Monday on the internet because I'm at work but this Monday I'm not at work. So if I went to a ticketmaster outlet do they allow you some choice in your seat or just give you whatever comes up? Thanks

You might be in trouble regarding walk up - I have a feeling it's internet or phone orders only. I might be wrong though.

thats for Grand final registration

should be the same as the last few weeks- I know locally there are pre queue tickets for order of serving- designated from about 5./30- 6 am
other people just turn up later in the day and get seats in similar areas.

your other aternative is to find an internet cafe.

You can definitely do that Sainter, if you work or live in the city Telstra Dome is the best place to go.

My father has queued the last 2 weeks (as I did for prelims in 04 and 05) - it is very quiet if you get there early and they do give you the choice

You sure can ask where you want to sit, except for the GF. I demanded (in a nice, pleasant manner  ) and politely asked for Level 3 Ponsford, after several or so mins we got there in the end.

Last week i practically jumped over the counter at Ticketmaster in Myer Frankston and found them myself! :D

After all, who's paying them...

Can you buy family tix for prelim final, someone said something on here about no family tix available.

I have been online the last 2 weels at 9.00am buying tix and its been to easy, I will be pissed if I cant get them in the morning.

If no family tix as mentioned does anyone know why?

Cheers

I imagine no family tickets are offered, as the AFL are looking for a higher return on the later weeks of the final series.

I presume you'll just have to click Members Reserved Seats on the TM website like other members, enter in the individual barcodes, and then search for the seats you want in the relevant price category.

Highly suggest anyone with cooee of the 'G grabs a ticket somehow.... would pay through the nose to not only be there, but also to avoid Quarterbrain and co on the box! Win-win

doesn't it annoy when the - operator- knows nothing about football, knows nothing about the stadium- be it MCG or TD,

a little bit of knowledge would greatly reduce the lines and the frustration-

if people wonder about the efficency of getting tickets online as opposed to at an outlet- they all access the same screen so to speak- call up is the same
as long as you have an idea of where areas are then you can keep trying,

if you really want a choice- and during home and away I do- go into an outlet and use your knowledge.

Just got off the phone with the old man. He has been at the Dome since about 8am and he reckons there are about 100 in the queue.

Hi guys.

Question:

I'm an AFL / St Kilda Club Support member.

This week there is the option of purchasing a ticket today (and sit with the STKFC Members) or tomorrow for AFL Reserve. Tomorrow's ticket would cost $96.

How much are general Members tickets today?

Thanks.

three prices- Premium is 102, prime 89 standard 76

But I say spread the colour- they still try and sell in bays according to club supported
was good to see both the MCC and AFL sections with crowds in them on Saturday.
