From a selfish point of view I like the twilight games. After playing on Saturdays then coaching juniors on Sundays the 440pm start fits right in to my weekend schedule. :)

Now if I didn't have Foxtel then I might not be so amicable. :x

Also if I still lived in Melbourne I would have a completely different outlook

these games are convenient for me as well, but i can see why others dont think so.

parents with little ones to prepare for school and things like that would definately not like that timeframe

It may not appeal to whole lot of fans, but no draw ever does, this suits me... at least every one of those game will be shown live on fox footy

5 pm start- I'm assuming? so 7.30 - 8 pm finish
2-4 hour drive to home- after you get out of the car/ bus park

thats midnight Sunday with work at anything from 7am or earlier........ fun
forget interstate members coming- unless they get a good flight????? or a Holiday
or are they around holidays???

AAMI on fridays? forget going from Vic unless you can work flexy hours-

Monday night------ WHAT THE..... some can get away early on a Friday for games But try getting away before 5.30 on a Monday??????

Bratty, you don't have to worry about the Monday game- it's a CollingFilth home game (I belive) so we'll be lucky to get seats/tickets for our cheer squad let alone many of our members getting in.

I feel the same about the Collingwood night game on the Monday night. A game at the MCG in middle of winter would have provided the opportunity for a ticket for everyone. At the Dome, sorry the Stadium we'll be lucky to get ticket to sit amongst the ferals.
And what's worse, Channel 7 is the broadcaster so we'll still be sitting up until midnight.
Too bad for all of those supporters who have to go to work the next morning. I'd have a turn around time from Southern Cross of less than 9 hours which is my worst nightmare.

Yeah mate, but surely it's about trying to increase our supporter base and encourage new members
