2009 Family Day

Post: # 676117Post Sainter_Dad »

Where will this be held - at Moorabbin?

Or if everything goes to plans - aren't they breaking earth in May - maybe it would be a good time to have a ground breaking ceremony at Belvedere Park and have the family day there at the same time!

given that the stands area at Moorabbin will be under deconstruction- it would be assumed it will be somewhere else.

This year was at Frankston....

i think that that would be a great idea.
5,000+ at Frankston Park and I suspect that there would be a lot more who would come to BP.
However, it may be a case of too much too soon.

I'd say 2010 open day at BP have 2009 at Frankston again to cement the clubs commitment to the area. BP probably needs a small upgrade to the local streets before it is accessible for such a large number of people

straight-up man.

the dye is already cast i suppose.

if they win the cup again the crowd at FP will be closer to ten than five thats for sure.

would love to see the family day then move to seaford for 2010.

Can we invite B4?

I'd like to do some ground-breaking with him.

Perhaps Stinger too.

Frankston has massive parking issues, however the public transport is good with the station not being far from oval.

Belvedere won't be ready until mid 2010 at the earliest.

Can't see any Family Day or anything else being held there for a couple of years, if ever.
