i didnt see maxy.
team unit looks professional.
i got there at about 9:15 and they were doing stretching.
they did team laps and then broke off into groups.
jimmy gwilt, sam gilbert, kosi and a couple of others were kicking goals with the camera.
armo and lenny were doing handpassing, laps and kick-to-kick. lenny looks fit
everyone was working good and hard at this stage in groups.
terminator-X was doing sprints and laps.
individuals doing laps whilst groups drilled.
goosey took a breather.
then it was game time - rapidfire boxing.
milney acting the right world champ.
everyone impressed with the gloves except for ross tungatalum who may have been told to go easy.
one feels the young fella has a bit about him and an extra gear than what he showed today.

How was kozi's kicking for goal..... and has Choo-Choo put on any weight? thanks for the report also mate
Pilgram wrote:kosi was flawless.
booting it between the sticks on every occasion and over the net from fifty.
everyone looks big and strong.
Funny Gwilt having shots at goals might be an indication that he is going to play forward this year so your saying that Choo-Choo looks big and strong?
dunno if you can read too much into goalkicking. i think it was more an exercise in kicking technique with the camera for analysis. although jimmy in the forwardline is not a bad move in my opinion. i think its safe to say that gilbert is a half back flanker.

who's choo-choo?
Ross Tungatulem
he may have been given instruction to go easy because he was going decidedly easier than the group.

But what you said was that everyone looks big and strong
my pleasure yeah.
dunno about choo-choo magoo yet.
but everyone trained hard.
dunno if he is a half-forward flanker in the making or what but he has a bit of james brown about him.
would need to bulk-up on carbs and develop some size in his legs,
however he does have a knock-out punch that we didnt see today.

He will play in the forward pocket then when he gets fit enough he should play in the midfield

That's interesting. last week at training he tackled one of those tackle bags and stayed on the ground with the bag for a while...RL was heard to yell out..."Get up offa that thing.."
yeah, i went but didn't really concentrate. but they all looked good, doing a lot of boxing. i have a few photos that i will post later tonight.
i was looking at the tractors and the stands being torn down more than the players ...but over all it was a good day, very sunny and good sun baking weather
i must once again thank SainterDad, i now have a piece of Moorabbin in my bag
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."
