In todays Australian newspaper p. 3 the is a photo of the memorial service for the Davey family killed in the bushfires. There are two Saints scarves poignantly placed beside the candles. Spend a moment thinking once more of Robert Davey and his beautiful family...... a loss to our Saints family
Don't know how to put the photo up on this site........ sad but beautiful.
Almost everyone I speak to has been impacted someway or knows someone who has. My father-in-law is in hospital as a result. It's been a miserable few weeks - and likely to get worse.
THE service began with coloured ribbons and ended with bubbles and the story of the nut-brown hare who loves his child all the way to the moon and back. In between were memories of a young family cut down by the Black Saturday fires.
It was a celebration of the lives of Robert and Natasha Davey and their daughters Jorja, 3, and Alexis, 8 months.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine.
Hird... The unflushable one is now... just a turd...
