BUT!!!
if we can jsut get another foward.
1 more foward.
that would allow us to play roo on the wing.
it would be sensational.
LOOK HOW WELL RICHO PLAYS, AND YOU CANT TELL YOURSELF THAT RICHO AND ROO ARENT SIMILAR PLAYERS!
2004 NAB cup grandfinal
g-train - full foward

ROO- ON THE WING.
drifted in and kicked 2 in a min.

They haven't been recruited yet....saintjake wrote:BUT!!!

"who are our best chances in the forward line":?
The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.
Well we may need another forward but we aint going to recruit one to replace a 4 time b&f winner in the forward line. Rooy will always be a forward but may go on the ball once in a blue moon if the side is struggling.saintjake wrote:well why the hell havnt we recruited them yet
we have the single worst recruiting policy in history!

Where did they finish last year?
Besides Richo has always played wide...more as a HF Flanker than a CHF or FF.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

Roo already plays everywhere from CHF and runs his opponents ragged.
But I would love to see Kosi being given a similar role as Richo.
Kosi is at his best drifting forward or reading the play from the back. That is how he dominated in 2005.
Very different to playing permanent FF which is highly restrictive and requires a fast lead to create space which Kosi doesn't have.

I wouldn't have thought that Kosi is a similar type of athlete to either Richo or Roo. Doesn't have their pace, or tank for that matter.Shaggy wrote:But I would love to see Kosi being given a similar role as Richo.
To me, Kosi is a follower in a game that is rapidly evolving into a follower-less game, sadly. And he's not a good enough ruckman to make it as just a ruckman. It'll be interesting to see where he is used effectively this year.
