I think it gives a bit of a clue to what type team that Lyon is angling to have in the finals....

Yeah, coulda swore there was a plan being executed superbly by the Hawks last year, Hodge seemed to know what that plan was and what his role was!!! Sheesh, EVERYONE has lauded the gameplans of both trhe Cats and the Hawks over the last couple of seasons.
Executing the game plan is crucial.
What the game plan is, isn't.
You can't execute your game plan if you have shiit players, or key players missing.
Experienced, mature players are able to adhere to a plan much better than young guys.
Hawthorn's plan didn't win them the flag. Their ability to stick to it under pressure, and have some pretty handy cattle carrying it out is what won them the flag.
Give this person an OBE for contribribtion to comedy and cutting wit.
All bow to the master.
Never in my wildest fantasies could I ever come up with a retort as pure, as simple, yet as cutting and humorous as this.
You have my eternal admiration.
Wow! Seriously... pure gold.

Could have saved us all some trouble and simply started a thread called:
I don't like Ross Lyon as coach.
Then just keep bumping said thread everytime you find another angle to bag the coach.

Well then you should refer to the op because the original post you quoted was on that topic.Teflon wrote:who says Im referring to the OP?Shaggy wrote:Lol again.Teflon wrote:you do get the feeling some love a loss if nothing else it vindicates their coach theories and thats what really counts right?Mr Magic wrote:Especially if we lose?Shaggy wrote:I enjoyed the first report.

I was responding to Magic -I think he captures the view of not just me but many through this thread who see it for what it is.Shaggy wrote:Well then you should refer to the op because the original post you quoted was on that topic.Teflon wrote:who says Im referring to the OP?Shaggy wrote:Lol again.Teflon wrote:you do get the feeling some love a loss if nothing else it vindicates their coach theories and thats what really counts right?Mr Magic wrote:Especially if we lose?Shaggy wrote:I enjoyed the first report.

I am concerned with your obsession with RF. He was proved right once in a very real way. You got it wrong. No demeaning from you can change it.Teflon wrote:I was responding to Magic -I think he captures the view of not just me but many through this thread who see it for what it is.Shaggy wrote:Well then you should refer to the op because the original post you quoted was on that topic.Teflon wrote:who says Im referring to the OP?Shaggy wrote:Lol again.Teflon wrote:you do get the feeling some love a loss if nothing else it vindicates their coach theories and thats what really counts right?Mr Magic wrote:Especially if we lose?Shaggy wrote:I enjoyed the first report.

Doesn't mean he is right in everything and I am sure you will find out RF in many of his other predictions. At least he has the balls to do it . The OP was good ... don't try to destroy it.

on the new blood front I think there's a case that Jack Steven deserves a run over McQualt. As for Armitage... I don't find him enormously impressive. If Gwilt proves not to make it I'd be lookin at Nick Heyne for the third marking forward. X needs to come in at some point. Is Geary the best we have - nobody else?

And that case is based on what exactly? Steven looks a likely lad, but in his NAB run(s) so far has been serviceable at best. He's hardly knocking the door down.groupie1 wrote:on the new blood front I think there's a case that Jack Steven deserves a run over McQualter.
McQualter had a pretty good game against Sydney. It would be difficult to drop him IMO.

Mini won't get dropped. He does ok for what's required. His attack on the ball and the man is great.McEvoy5 wrote:I think everyone is over reacting to Mini's great goal including himself.............St DAC wrote:And that case is based on what exactly? Until Steven can do as good a job... if not better, he shouldn't replace him.
