Yeah, coulda swore there was a plan being executed superbly by the Hawks last year, Hodge seemed to know what that plan was and what his role was!!! Sheesh, EVERYONE has lauded the gameplans of both trhe Cats and the Hawks over the last couple of seasons.

Executing the game plan is crucial.

You can't execute your game plan if you have shiit players, or key players missing.

Experienced, mature players are able to adhere to a plan much better than young guys.


Hawthorn's plan didn't win them the flag. Their ability to stick to it under pressure, and have some pretty handy cattle carrying it out is what won them the flag.

I am concerned with your obsession with RF. He was proved right once in a very real way. You got it wrong. No demeaning from you can change it.

Doesn't mean he is right in everything and I am sure you will find out RF in many of his other predictions. At least he has the balls to do it . The OP was good ... don't try to destroy it.

If Gwilt proves not to make it I'd be lookin at Nick Heyne for the third marking forward. X needs to come in at some point. Is Geary the best we have - nobody else?
