thoughts on this week's team

Post: # 720737Post henno »

yes this thread is fairly premature, as the team's won't get announced until around about an hour and a half (or 4 hours for us  )

but i wouldn't be surprised if there are no changes this week (barring injury concerns to chips)

after all, it is hard to change a winning team.

"Sammy Fisher walked in early, looked really proppy, didn't really put much weight on his left foot, not sure if it was hamstring related... probably just going to get a massage or do weights."

Is Bakes okay? He took a frightful battering...you know...the one that made him CHUCK...Maybe a late withdrawal?

Bakes will be OK - was full of action at training on Tuesday. Sam Fisher may, emphasise may, be a worry - appeared to me to be a little sore in the left calf.

Good re Baker. Unbreakable little bugger.

Fisher would be a loss, huh. We'll see. Calves are a bitch tho.

Instead: Raph Clarke? Maguire? X?

There just seems to be a real confidence about the team at present - they're not all game winners but they are gelling well and there is an even contribution for the most part. If Sam goes down I don't think that it's that desperate at the moment.. not ideal but not a disaster. Interested to see how we hold up after the intensity of last week - 8 days off so all should be good.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Baker always plays his best once he has chucked up.
Just getting rid of the butterflies out of his stomach.

I spoke to Sam Fisher at the function after the crows game and he seemed fine. Happy and in good spirits with no sign of injury.

Unless he hurt himself at training ?

Looks like Dawson might be in line for a stopping job on LeCras... interesting.

Only about three teams have balanced ins and outs ie most have gone for a bunch of ins and no outs. Must be in the water

Think you'll Find Ray goes to Lecras and Zac touches up Hunter

I'm sorry, you've gone through all the trouble to find out what this actually says and it really is quite insignificant.

S.Fisher - Hunter

J.Blake - Hanson

S.Gilbert - B.McKinley

Baker - LeCras (not very big, extremely quick)

Ray - Running Back
