Luke Ball mentioned on The Footy Show that tomorrow the entire list would be going into the offices of PCI and would be calling the 6,000 members who had yet to renew.

Hopefully the promising start to the season will convince some to sign up. After all, our apparent boring style of play has been listed as a possible reason why people haven't.

Anyway, I'm sure there are a number of factors why we're down on previous years. The GFC is obviously affecting some people but it's clearly not the only factor when most other clubs have recorded a significant increase in their sales.

seems a differential between the saints sites- saints central had the figure at 28,227 yesterday- so I wonder who took the number at which time....

Can't understand all the shite that goes on regarding membership. We finished top four last year yet we can't get over 30,000 members this year.
Supporters frequently rubbish the Roos and the Dees re their poor membership numbers yet our is piss week now and doesn't look as though it will get any better.
We can blame the couple of years when the football played on the park looked questionable but really who are we kidding.
The magpies could finish on the bottom for three years running, still get optimum membership numbers and still be the team to take on all free to air footy coverage.
What the hell are we.!!!!!!
If you aren't a member. Sign up.
If you haven't got the cash. Pay monthly.
If you can't pay monthly. Get a credit card.
If you can't manage this, follow the local footy.
Sacrifices have to be made to make this club the club in Victoria. If the supporters can't be the one's to make these sacrifices than you is ?
Time to bite the financial bullet boys.

Let's hope there are a lot more to come in from the phone poll last week. If we are lucky, we may make the 30,000.
The one thing I find a mystery is that with a reported supporter base of of 280,000 to 300,000, why do we find it so hard to attract such a small percentage to join up as members - t'is got me beat.

minimum- memberships with 5 games attendance attached counts
adult or child/ concession

so international and saints sideline with only 1 game don't

there are some clubs (and the Saints will no doubt in the future-) now offer memberhsips with 3 games- apparently these will now count- IE the Hawthorn 4 game package

the basics are Derby street- AFL recognises and reimburses on the basis of numbers of games attended/ attached - number of game based memberships- I don't know detail

the CLUB benefits from any who can afford the extras - like social club- that's ALL club money.. ( To my understanding)

So - My son and I sit in the Medallion club - but in the past have still bought memberships - My son a squadron (counts) and myself a sideline (doesn't count). We have never scanned them in - should we scan them in - walk out - then comeback in as Medallion Club visitors?????

can only get 5 game if you are country or interstate

11 game membership- Home games only of which there are 8 left- $170 not Concession or student
the HOME game in Qld WILL have a replacement game in Melbourne

so current donation worth about $20 per game per adult
adult concession $108 ~ $13 per game
Student concession $ 12 per game
children UNDER 15 $60 - ~ $7 per

all above game entry and seating on level 3 at Docklands

Front desk shows 29,409 as at lunchtime today, Monday.
I reckon the next week will see us reach the targeted 30,000 after the Bulldogs game.

If they were paying a dollar for each IQ point for their membership the club would be paying them ffs.....
