I have noted that we have systematically played teams into form this year. Each side we have beaten has won the following week. In which case get on the Dockers for next week against Sydney.
4 weeks in - 2 undefeated teams - Geelong and THE MIGHTY SAINTERS!!!!
We have beaten 7,11,12 and 16th on the ladder
Geelong 13, 15, 6 and 11 - so relatively the standard of competition.
We are # 2 in attack #1 in defense - they are #1 in attack (by 19 points) but #10 in defense.
Oh - and we have won the most quarters of the competition
All signs are fantastic - keep it up boys!
Next week to smash the Power and break another hoodoo!
With the Doggies losing this week - maybe they wont be so confident the next couple of weeks and our pressure will crack them more!
In the past - if teams got a few behind us - they were always sure of coming back - the past two weeks have shown we can firmly plant the foot on the throat and choke the life out of any resistance!
Very pleasing start....Couldn't be better from a winning and percentage viewpoint. Last couple of years % has been a worry and we've had to play catch up. A win this week is another closer to the 12 + needed for finals...looking good!
SOS is a great assistant coach but not convinced that outsidethe club anyone really sees him as a senior coach in the short term. Hardwick and buckley for starters are in front as a pecking order
Anyway want to suggest that the reason why some of those teams are so low is because they have had to play both the saints and geelong

Dunstan - future captain Eli - future cult hero
Acres - future norm smith

I kind of agree on this, but I would think they might want a caretaker coach in - surprised Bryan Royal's name has gone quiet the last 1 or 2 years. Wayne Campbell maybe but I couldn't see Sheeds wanting a caretaker spot unless he's guaranteed another year or 2 after this season.
Besides can Richmond afford to pay out Wallace? Thought Clinton Casey had to worry about paying out another 3 or 4 Tiger players for "work done but not paid"

I realised that myself
What are the odds that it could happen again?????

Good stuff! spot on and you only have to listen to the opposition coaches each week following their loss to gather we have then become a potent and abject lesson to them through they way we have gone about it. Then its obviously been drummed into their troops on the track the following week
We just simply gotta keep honing it week by week, then bring on the Pusies for mine! ( and also a full strength Hawk outfit) ....although its about time the footy gods smiled on us a bit more and the likes of Geelong and the Dogs had a few more major injuries like those we have endured over the past few seasons whilst giving us a well earned break.
