There may have been a $5 by 4 credit card fee on top of that?Iceman234 wrote:I got on last November with Tiger and I think it cost me $93 for two of us.
Add to that staying with a mate for five days and what a great extended weekend.
Not sure on current deals.
Was not obvious when you booked,,,but was on my statement.

Sorry Sunil - got in on Tiger when the flights there were free - you just pay the tax and return we paid $10.00 each - those fair I have quoted include all taxes!!!!! Only drawback is we arrive Thursday and leave Monday!Sunil_saint wrote:You early birds have indeed got the worm......Im also paying $88 there and $118 return with Tiger......
Sainter Dad.....We always go to Launny and stay with friends. Which airline are you flying with.?? Must book if its currently cheap.
Cheers
Sunil
We are staying at The Apartments on York 1.5 kms from the ground - got the top floor ($290.00 per night) but it is two bedrooms, living area and full kitchen - we will save that on dinners the tastes that Sainter_Boy has! Wow youve done really well Sainter_dad with that deal !!!!! We are also within walking distance which is nice and Launceston IS that sort of serene place to catch up with friends and have a nice beer in a cosy pub. Looks like your younger Sainters are keen on the diet...you just might have to spend some of that stimulus package $$$$$ on food alone.
Cheers

Yep,they're ranked 4th in the world in aviation safety according to a mate in the industry.saintsRrising wrote:Why..they are half owned by Singapore Airlines.linz wrote:Aren't you guys a bit worried about flying er ........ Tiger
I flew them a couple years back from Phukket to Singapore....seem ok to me...for a LCC anyway.
Flown with them plenty of times, new planes, never a problem

changed my flight time by over 5 hrs with 3 days notice before the game, would have resulted in me missing the first quarter.saintsRrising wrote:Why..they are half owned by Singapore Airlines.linz wrote:Aren't you guys a bit worried about flying er ........ Tiger

It's more the name. The amount of bad press at the Tigers at the moment might rub off on to the airline. Only kidding, I'm sure it's a fine airline with a bad name at the moment.Iceman234 wrote:???linz wrote:Aren't you guys a bit worried about flying er ........ Tiger
Why?
If they go broke it's under $100 lost and I'll drive up to clock up some k's.
If they crash literally, well I'm not gonna know about it...
No loss either way.
I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.
