I'm between optimistic and quietly confident, ended up going with optimistic.

Only thing that will beat us is ourselves.
It's time to knock these peckerheads of their perch. We tackle and harass and pester and play with the passion four rounds have proven we can then we'll set ourselves up for a relatively comforatable win.
5-0 would be the best part of 1/3 of the way to a top two spot.
I'm quietly confident.

I am very nervous this week, we have not beaten Port over there since Rnd 22 1997. Its a big test for them, especially for Dal being tagged by Kane Cornes.
In Ross Get lost!
I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€

I'm very uncomfortable about this match as they have man-handled us so often before. We have not shown a real fight against this mob too many times.
This will be the 1st real indicator of whether we really have improved if we beat them at AAMI. We have a lot of "scars" from old matches here and the team will gain REAL respect if we can knock them over.
I believe we are very capable of beating them but we have so often given up this contest at this venue too easily in the past. I hope they show the real fight that they showed in rounds 1 & 2 with their tackling. With the guys having more mature bodies and the addition of King & Gardiner we should NOT get pushed around as much as in the past.
I am hoping like hell they can put another four good quarters together to knock this team off. It will feel so good to get this monkey off our back! It will mean that they have stepped up a notch. I want Dal Santo to at least break even with Kane Cornes this time. He can do it but will he on the night? Good Luck Nick
We are going to need the multiple goal scoring options to continue and it is a pity that Kosi won't be there. The mid-fielders need to continue their current good run.
Yup, I'm nervous, but I'm I'm also hopeful - Carn the Saints!

I'm both Quietly Confident and Sick! That should be on the poll as well .
I was thinking today, if this game was at Etihad, I would be pretty confident. So the major factor is home ground advantage. We've proven once this year that we can bring the goods to AAMI. I feel the Crows and Power are pretty evenly matched.
Hopefully the boys head over strong in the knowledge of their ability, put the crowd out of the game early with another strong opening quater and keep the pressure right up. Another 2nd quarter like that against the Dockers and the game may very well slip right away.

I'm down for quietly optimistic leaning to the nervous
On current form we should be favourites ...take history into account another story!
However in the past with Ports "wood over us" I firmly believe Port has intimidated and bullied us to a loss too often when on paper we have had the better side.
I am hopefull that what we are witnessing this year is the physical maturation of the bulk of our team , and a newfound belief and confidence that we can mix it with the Ports of this league
We have used only possibly 24 players over the 5 weeks ( provided 1 comes in for Kozi) and all have played hard at it footy, for the greater majority of the 16 quarters so far.
A contiuned effort in a similar vein, sustained over 4 quarters, will go along way to putting these B!@#$%'s back in their box
For starters the effective presence of an in form duo of Gards & Kingy will go along way to supressing the habitual bullying/intimidating tactics that we have been used to (and succummed to ) from this mob
Go boys we owe 'em heaps for mine!

Have to say a mixture of the middle 3 . I'm quietly confident , optimistic & i'm always nervous no matter who we play. It is going to be tough as we dont normally play well againt them no matter where the games have been played . Lets hope the boys come to play & have a real RHG & bring home the bacon.
