Hi Everyone, first time poster so I hope you'll be gentle with me.
I'm a woman and I have opinions about footy.... not always allowed I know.
But I just can't keep them to myself.

Bit overexcited about our start to the year and the game on Friday night.
I wonder who we have lined up for Tredrea. Now he's back in form, he's an eternal problem for us. I was at the 2004 prelim ( but did NOT run out) andhave sicked up at the sight of teal every since.

Glad Eddy gets a run tomorrow - hard, skillful and bloody unlucky to have been attacked by an umpire in the pre-season. Good pick for the wet imo.

Hope Grammy's kicking has improved out of sight in a week.
Hope both Nick's knees hold up.

My omigod omigod is Michael Gardiner.
The player I think is the most underrated by supporters is Jason Blake... and believe it or not, Nick Reiwoldt (he's better than we realise half the time)
Most overrated....Schneider - how he gets a game ahead of X baffles me.

I'm only fairly new here too and was a bit intimidated at first, but just love the place now and starting to feel like I "belong".
Don't worry about being belittled for being a woman and having an opinion.... No sexism here - if someone wants to challenge anything you say they will do !

Welcome aboard - gender is a non-issue here, as far as I can make out a lot of the posters don't discriminate - they hate all people equally !!

Although I never could understand giving women the vote. A very wise man once said that giving women the right to vote was about as useful as giving them the right to urinate standing up I believe it was in Cat Balou.

Welcom Roxanne I to are of the fairer sex and love this website dont post all that often but love reading what everyone has to say.
If you live in melbourne there is a great womens group attached to the Saints called The Angels who meet every month and we often have people from the club come along and give talks and we all love the Saints.
