I'm heading up, taking my mum up there for a short holiday. Can't wait.

Last year we sat in Stand 2, which to me was section 2, it is the older stand. Great view, 3 or 4 would be better, but often used for corporate. This is the main side of the ground, if that makes any sense. I believe our tickets will be in the same spot. Not received at this stage. As someone else said tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster, there is a map of the seating. CHeer squad will probably be in front of section 8. Opposite to last year as we are the home side.

St Kilda were going to ring me re the function tonight but I didn't hear from them. As soon as I know I will post. Can tell you that it wont be a breakfast sadly.

Radisson is a very nice hotel but it is isolated as is Royal Pines. Some may like that. Carrara is very suburbia. I always suggest to people to stay in Broadbeach. Close to everything.

Any further questions, just fire away.

With the Pines the RACV now own it and if you are a RACV member you can get cheaper rates:
http://www.racv.com.au/wps/wcm/connect/ ... es+resort/ It is handy spot to stay if you like golf. But is well awu from everything.

Luckilly I have wangled 2 nights free at the Marriott and will be staying there. 8-)

Hi Bev,
I was hoping to find something in Broady either was too much
or you needed to stay a certain number of nights,
then found Radisson thinking it mighten of been far from
the ground, but i guess a short taxi ride maybe or my mum lol
as she is on the coast & coming up to stay at the Radisson
also the free night got me!
but i hope they will have something on if not the brekky while
we are there lol i postponed the train home incase of the brekky.

I'm sniffing a definite possibility that Carrara will be a ST KILDA FORTRESS in a few weeks...
