Saints on Facebook?
Was doing some time wasting at work earlier () and came across the "Official" St Kilda Facebook fan page (which looks quite new?) I don't know if teams can do this (or if Telstra will ban it), but it looks like the club is actively updating the page and it's been a good way to keep on top of things that are going on.
I don't know if this link will work, but will try anyway:

Had a mate in darwin who was obsessed with our 80's players. His favourite was Gordon Fode, and he wanted a picture of his flat top.... Things you do we you drink...couldn't find a pic of Fodey anywhere,so i thought he might be on facebook...he was and his profile pic was an old footy card picture of him! So i had to add him so we could cut and paste his profile picture...and he accepted haha.
Last year i bumped into him at the Harvey tribute game and had to explain why i was on his facebook. He laughed and said "aw yeah you're the fishing guy from darwin",and he had a chat to me for a bit. He was quite accepting and didn't seem to think I was a potential stalker...

I'm a fan of one Facebook page...I don't think it's official though. Will have to track the official one down. I signed up to their Myspace page via my old band...along with a few players (Ball, Dal Santo...actually NDS knocked us back) and a stack of fans (N1ck, were you on there...seem to remember the spelling...mates with 'Needles'?).
can you list examples of names please so i dont have to search them alldegruch wrote:Just type their names in search...it's more fun. If I was one of those poor buggers, I'd stay off Facebook for fear of fans tracking me down...be careful with their privacy bud.#1GILL wrote:Which players have facebook? could you post a link?

It's pretty low brow stuff to go around adding people who don't know you, so let's not encourage that kind of thing here.
It was more just to say there is an official fan page rather than promoting stalking
IMO.
