Can't believe the saints v dees game is only on foxtel and channel 7 is showing the freo v north game. you would think with the afl's push for GC that we would get the free to air coverage let alone the fact that it is 2 vic sides playing...

Re: TV
Saturday Night games are shared between Foxtel & Ch 10. This might be one of the weeks where Foxtel gets 1st choice (I think they get 6-8 weeks where they get 1st choice) !!MC Gusto wrote:Can't believe the saints v dees game is only on foxtel and channel 7 is showing the freo v north game. you would think with the afl's push for GC that we would get the free to air coverage let alone the fact that it is 2 vic sides playing...

Sorry to everyone who doesn't have it but Foxtel is the best coverage of all when they have the A team of BT, Gerard Healey and James Hird commentating. Blows everyone else out of the water. And no ads between every goal. Rox is always selfishly happy when the Saints are on Fox.

I hope St Kilda insists that all North Melbourne players be tested before St Klida plays North Melbourne.Solar wrote:interesting if the freo game gets called off because of swine flu!
This flu is contagious and after rolling in the mud at the Subiaco Pigsty with Fremantle players, North Melbourne players could easily become contaminated.

Even better is recording a replay of the game on my Foxtel IQ.roxanne wrote:Sorry to everyone who doesn't have it but Foxtel is the best coverage of all when they have the A team of BT, Gerard Healey and James Hird commentating. Breaks between quarters are eliminated and any ads can be fast forwarded.
And because the recording is made to a hard disk those special incidents can be easily replayed.
Work smarter, not harder, and you too can afford Foxtel.

What has North Melbourne got to do with anything? Fremantle are playing Richmond this week.ace wrote:I hope St Kilda insists that all North Melbourne players be tested before St Klida plays North Melbourne.Solar wrote:interesting if the freo game gets called off because of swine flu!

i have to admit that foxtel is the best to watch footy on. there are no adds or any of that s***.
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."
Yep, I also really rate Glen Jakovich as a special comments man whenever I'm watching an Eagles/Freo game.roxanne wrote:Sorry to everyone who doesn't have it but Foxtel is the best coverage of all when they have the A team of BT, Gerard Healey and James Hird commentating. BT has to be the funniest commentator.
I pissed myself watching a replay of the Saints Dogs game when they were taking the p1ss out of that fairly well-built goal umpire, I'm sure you've seen him.
BT was calling him "Chesty Bonds" and said that he was the "go-to man" for umpires. Said that if the umpires ever did a calendar, he would be the pin-up boy.
Haha love Bristle.
