Geelong can't beat saints with their bottom 6 players

Post: # 749015Post kaos theory »

Geelong need to improve their bottom six if they are going to match it with st.kilda.

Fancy having plodders like Hawkins & M. Blake to rely on?

Mooney is a one trick pony that is hopelesss when he gets a decent opponent, and he will go the biff and lose it completely.

Wojcinski is the biggest downhill skier on the game. He runs fast & thats it.

Stokes & mumford would struggle to get a game with most bottom 8 clubs.

No, geelong are in serious trouble, they my be 10 - 0 (after today), but unless they can improve their bottom six they will implode during the finals.

Worst 10-0 team i have ever seen except for the 10-0 St.Kilda teams of 2004 and 2009.

Both clubs in MASSIVE trouble.

Agreed JB.

If it wasn't for the fact that both these teams had won 10 in a row, they would both be at the bottom end the ladder!

They play the poorest quality of football, just not sustainable over a number of weeks.

I mean, they'd never have a chance of winning 10 in a row or anything like that.

Can't believe both sides aren't sacking the coach, making at least 4-5 changes a week for their side and that the supporters aren't rioting about such poor performance.

Fair dinkum hopeless.

hmmm..

51 wins from the last 54 starts, with 3 of those wins against the Saints.

Geelong is a proven performer over a long time.

We, on the other hand, have won 18 out of the last 23. Not bad, but not quite as good for bragging.

Most commentators agree that about half of those wins were a result of the Cats being let off the hook. The fact is, they just don't play well against top 8 sides.

Yes both clubs are so bad they are both likely to miss the finals.
But then some commentators are saying that 10 wins may make the final eight this year.

How many sides have Geelong beaten that are above them on the ladder in the last three years?
