Arguably Kosi's best game since that purple patch in 2005. Totally imposed himself on the contest, and took a number of amazing contested grabs. The Kosi-Roo combination makes our forward line a hell of a lot harder to stop when both are on fire.
Trust the Midas Touch

yes he played well today*
*disclaimer: he towelled up a kid like he is supposed to.
For whatever stupid reason, Thompson (i had to look him up) was left on Kosi all day bar a couple of minutes.
Whoever this Thompson kid is, he was clearly out of his depth and the fact that:
A) Kosi missed a couple of easy ones early
B) Our midfielders didn't kick it to Kosi enough to expose this mismatch
certainly should be looked at during the week.

I bought a shirt from Target once.
It had a hard tag on it too.
I know how Dal feels.

Nope, just that he's on track to have his best year ever with us, is considerably fitter than ever and is busting packs open no matter who is in his way.duckduckduckgoose wrote:Nope, that post was as serious as a heart attack.Iceman234 wrote: best tongue in cheek post this year...
Do you know something I dont Iceman?
Today he dominated and IMO was our best player, and the best is yet to come.
The Kos is a force that we need fit and firing, which he is doing right now.
Mate, get to your local GP because that chest is beating a mile a minute obviously...

Maybe your ticker is the one that needs monitoring?
"Be still my beating heart! Kosi took a couple of marks!"
You seriously think Kosi is going to get such easy runs at the ball/pack against a decent opponent?
Hardly.
I will reinterate, yes its good to see him play well.... but lets not get carried away by him beating up on an undermaned, bottom 8 side.

Kosi has been having his best year yet, and has been doing everything required.
Make no mistake, oppo players would be worried when our Special K runs at the packs.
But carry on...

yes my meagre intellect was able to decypher your heart attack comment... hence my reply about your ticker.....Iceman234 wrote:Reference was to you saying it was as serious as a heart attack...Maybe your ticker is the one that needs monitoring?

And yes, you are partially correct- he is having his best year since his rookie year.
Pardon me for not doing cartwheels for a bloke who is back playing at a level he was 8 years ago.

K O S I !!
Kosi is producing the aerial brilliance that will keep his teammates on the front foot and believing that they can continue to keep grinding out the wins. He spoke really well on the radio post game.
Hope the players don't feel they have to let the opposition take the lead every round.
Just saw febola mouthing off on the tv.
Come on Sam wear him like a blanket next week. I don't think i'm psychologically adjusted enough to let Carlton and febola crack any smiles next weekend.

The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.

ABC Sunday Inquisition. June 7th
The Sunday Inquisition did not leave any stone unturned in its appraisal of the happenings of the AFL during round 11.
TSI's panel of Grandstand's Gerard Whateley, North Melbourne premiership player Stan Alves and The Age's Samantha Lane discussed the appointment of Jade Rawlings as Richmond's caretaker coach in addition to the overnight victories posted by Carlton and Port Adelaide, while a reference to one of the esteemed trio in a prominent Australian crime fiction novel also rated a mention.
