Former St Kilda ruckman Lazar Vidovic wants to fight Barry Hall
http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,865 ... 51,00.html

Former St Kilda ruckman Lazar Vidovic - one of the true tough guys of football - wants to fight his old teammate Barry Hall.

Although Vidovic is 44, he is keen to get in the ring with Hall.

Vidovic, who is now working in the fruit industry, will speak with Paul Ferreri, a former Australian and Commonwealth bantamweight champion who took the ex-Saint in many boxing sessions during his playing days

Lazar, one of the true tough guys of football?

Not the bloke I bought a used car from.

Hall would destroy him. He has boxed and is 10 years younger. No one would have any interest in that fight outside Saints supporters. Would never happen.

Even though Lazar's intentions are great (raising money for Jimmy and beating the crap outta poopyhead-hall), I fear plugger66's comments are correct.

Lazar may know a little street justice from his days as a Broady lad, but I hate to say it, poopyhead would not be troubled by this.

If it was "American doubles" - Lazar and Wow Jones versus poopyhead... maybe haha

I never know how to respond when someone says they want to raise money under someone else's name (e.g. for Jimmy Stynes). Would they have talked to Jimmy Stynes first? Would he want that? I always feel a bit ambivalent about that.
