Lenny Hayes

Post: # 784994Post LENNY LEADS THE WAY »

Let me just start by saying i'm loving the 2009 season as we all would be.

I've actually forgotten what it feels like to lose a game and i have this new sense of calm even when we're being challenged that the boys will get the job done.

West Coast in Perth, Brisbane at the Dome, Kangas at the dome all games in prvious years we would've lost when we got behind or challenged even last week when the dogs got within 3 goals i was never worried but if this was mid 08 i would be having a panic attack.

Anyway i'm rambling, I want to talk about Lenny Hayes, What a man, what a inspiration, is there any1 in the afl that is harder at the contest then our man Lenny? i think not, he's just king of the hard ball get, whenever there's a stoppage and Lenny is amongst the action i have no doubt he will win the clearance.

GO THE MIGHTY SAINTERS IN 09 please please let this be our year, i want that premiership feeling!

Currently $21 for the brownlow and in the last 2 years has been a vote getter.

My absolute favourite player,

I would not trade him for Ablett, Judd or anyone,

IMHO, the best midfielder in the competition,

obviously I'm biased, but I believe that this is a fair and balanced call,

Lenny is the general and an absolute football superstar!

Thread on BF atm about Lenny. Not surprisingly started by a Dogs fan. He has left a few players injured along the way (Thursfield & Rusling come to mind) but has also done himself some damage.

They all wish they had him playing in their team.

If he isn't, he isn't far off.

A certainty for All Australian honours this year, without question the most underated midfielder in the competition.

Along with Roo, the one we can least afford to lose, IMHO.
