Buy yourself a plastic drop sheet to cover your legs.....

I just bought one from Bunnings for $1.50

Don't get wet

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

You need a plastic poncho if you are going to sit in the rain for hours.
Also waterproof footwear - but not allowed in the MCC Reserve!

I have a plastic St Kilda raincoat, but the plastic drop sheet is for the legs

Poncho's are great but I woulld also buy large garbage bags the stronger one's just step into them and pull up they keep everything dry.
Learnt that from many years at Waverly.
Also peak cap under rain coat keeps rain off face.

Most bunnings should have them (if they are in stock) each store gets like a million at the start of winter.

Purchased some poncho's for only $1.50 from Chickadee's and i am sure they would have some at the reject shop as well , the peaked cap did wonders today at the parade kept the rain off face all day.........

Yes, good advice St.Fid!

Will definitely come prepared like I did 5 years ago for that semi final against the swans.

As well as a poncho and a drop sheet, large dishwashing gloves worn over woolen/polar fleece gloves will keep them dry and warm!!!

I wore one of those 20 cent Saints poncos to the parade today.
Worked a treat. :D
