I'm guessing that means 2009 saints players have got those numbers? So does leigh continue in number 6? steven gets 3? armo gets 14?

I'm tipping that Leigh Fisher will lose #6 and CJ and Mini will have one of those 4 numbers

If you look at the other thread re numbers you will see that we know who is wearing 3,4 and 14. 6 sounds like it may be an ex rookie.

I read the other thread, p66. Just thought because it was official news from Facebook and included two other numbers, it would be worth posting a fresh thread. Sorry, mate.

So who do you reckon has the numbers 3, 4 and 14? And 6 for that matter?

I note there's no reference to #8. On another forum it was suggested that this was going to be given to Raph (apparently his number before joining the saints) however the facebook news suggests he may be staying in #16.

I am a huge Raph fan and would be happy to see him in #8 if that's what he really wants. However if that doesn't happen it's probably for the best as I can just imagine those anti-Raph morons going into meltdown if he was given the number of the universally loved Max!

Who was that guy who wore 22 back in 03-04?

I still don't understand the whole Fisher situation. If he's still part of the club why change his number? If his number is not changing, why mention number 6 on facebook?

I dislike established players changing their jumper number. I'm not sure why 11 is better than 28 or why 6 or 17 is better than 22. I don't get what's wrong with 38, 42 and 43. Maybe Robert Eddy smells funny.

Sure, but you were happy that Bakes put his hand up for Spiders old number 10 to show how the should be worn, and no doubt Grammy was over the moon to recieve No 1. Kosi and X the same.

What's the history of number 6? I remember that red-headed bloke who used to be Tim Watson's team mate disappointing in it, and Fish tried hard but hasn't kicked on as expected. When was the last time a gun wore number 6?

Almost all clubs have #'s that are sacred numbers and given to players that can uphold the traditions of the number. To get the #4 at St Kilda is to suggest you are a great player or club man for the club so that would be an honor to be given this # by the club. So i can see BJ wearing 4 in 2010 and beyond.

You really are a little weed. You should stick to something you are good at. Nothing. Red hair no friends. Dont always agree with that saying but in this case it is perfect.
