We Should Have Lost!

Post: # 886631Post Broodruff »

Yeah, I'm baiting you guys...

...but regardless, lets take this oppurtunity to appreciate the brain fade from the swans player who was lining up for a 9 pointer after the Goddard 50m penalty - played on from the mark and kicked a regular, 6 point, goal.

$10 says he's feeling like a bit of a goose at the moment!

Anything but the statement you'd expect from the 'should've been premiers of 09'. I know it's only the NAB Cup, but I'm yet to believe St Kilda are immune to the sh*t storm that's constantly been knocking at Moorabbin's doorsteps since Lovett reared his ugly head.

I certainly prefer the:

"We should have lost" to the "We should have won".

If he had of kicked that goal, there is a good chance we still would of won. We had control over the ball for the last 2-3 minutes knowing we were infront, if we were 2 points down, we would of played for a goal.

Agreed.

We won.

Nothing else is relevant.

who cares? I don't care if we win or lose a pre-season game, I only care if there are injuries.

I always want to win I just don't think it is the most important thing at this time of the year.

In other words I would prefer we lose a NAB cup game rather than get a injury to any of the top 22 players (even if a minor tear or something).
