Saints nominated for a Logie!

The AFL Grand Final 2009 St Kilda v Geelong has been nominated for the Logie for Most Outstanding Sports Coverage so I guess that means that the Saints are nominated too!

Was a fair bit of it going on Sat night also, a nice dive there that I remember early in the game.

The TV seems to love showing us loosing, I don't recall other loosing Grand Finalists having that much attention, usually the show more of the winnng team. But the media seems to hate us, I don't know why.

Sydney, sydney, sydney. that's all TV or Australia or anyone actually cares about.

AFL games won't rate well in Sydney.

The acting after the Tomahawk goal which was a point is gold logie worthy.

It's an industry voted award for Most Outstanding Coverage not a popular vote. However, I agree with you OneEyed. How that crappy NRL Footy Show wins Logies is beyond me. 7 yrs in Sydney and I tried to watch it but it really is crap. Not particularly stressed if the GF doesn't win the Logie. I haven't watched it anyway.
