*** anyone got Schneids goal from 65 at the other end.....?
I never delete now without copying- You never know what you need to remember--
how bad 2000 was
how good 2009 was
how good last week was
how sad last night was.
sometimes it's the last game for someone--

Do you actually watch replays of disappointing performances from 5-10 years ago just because it was someone's last game?saintbrat wrote:here is the non embedded link

or supporting a team in their own way
some like to remember players
some like to remember teams
some like to remember games
there can be highlights for all sort of reasons-
and whilst accepting that our history isn't littered with GREAT years
It's also worth remembering that as a club we HAVE survived.
many little things can be seen in hindsight.

Same player, same opposition, same ground, same round, last year....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6YLGk3doHY
Just noticed looking at the fixture, we play the same teams in the same rounds as last year in rounds 1,4,5,6

LOL bigfooty loves making Milne out to be nothing more than a hack! We all know different!
Thats Mr. Smartarse to you

a Hack wouldn't survive into his tenth year and be amongst the leading goal scorers at his club and in the league
a Hack MAY survive the average 3 years... he has gone through rookie, two clubs and two coaches.. he has SURVIVED....

So you could sit there and watch a 100 point drubbing all over again, because some footballer played his seventh and last game for the club?saintbrat wrote:Just as everyone has their own reasons for going to a game of footballBeej wrote: Do you actually watch replays of disappointing performances from 5-10 years ago just because it was someone's last game?

He loves the club as much, if not more, than any of the current players IMO.na exa wrote:thats a pearler.

its funny that buckets.
the big footiers , on the st kilda board itself , don't think that , do they?
on the main board , the other teams rip into him at wholesale but the st kilda board has the same 'headspace' as here.
they love him and get frustrated by him ... but are all pretty happy he's running around in our colours.
they actually come across as a good bunch of dudes.
theres a lot of 'big footy' myths around this place ... are they the enemy over there for some reason ?

I never said I watched them all over again- I said I have them
I'm into history and recognising where we've moved from-
I was lucky enough to live in Country Vic where we got 1 game and highlights of 5/6 others - rarely saw vision of St Kilda games apart from the occasional 'quarter" of football - so now I do look for and watch old replays so I can learn more of what others speak about... just wish they had had more cameras in those days-
and these days I wish they would show more of the crowd reaction etc.
But much prefer to " Be There' and see for myself .
