That's what the grass throwing time wasting actor tool said through his lipstick during the half time break.

After the NAB Cup Grand Final, Lloyd said he couldn't see the Saints beating the Bulldogs this year.

Seemed like a reckless thing to say, even for an inexperienced commentator ...

Did Darcy have a cry during the broadcast last night as well?

Usually does .

Lance or James??

Darcy did a really good job last night, I now know just about everything you need to know about each Western Bulldogs player and what wonderful players they are and he managed to mix it in with the odd comment about what a good free kick to the doggies the umpire paid! Informative insightful and unbiased!!

Wrong channel for TV - maybe he was on MMM?

Is he worse than Rohan (Dale Morris has never been beaten) Smith on Fox?

He is a tosser. Ex footballers in the media should NOT be that biased towards their old teams. Darcy is one of the worst. Goes absolutely silent when things go the other way when his beloved Dogs are playing.

I actually struggled to find a station I could listen to for any length of time.

and much as it galls me to say it heard a positive comment from Mick M- maybe he can be unbiased- although I disagree with him doing commentary/ comment whilst still a coach.

I tend to agree with you, I was listening to it on SEN last night, but as much as it pains me to say it, I had to agree with his comments after the game and that they were positive as well

Was listening to Cometti myself last evening and I had usually in the past found no reason to dislike his call.

He started out last nite by saying ,, "yes theres Milne ,,, goal less last week ,, need him to lift."
What the ???
then he was on about the soft free we were given to get our only goal in the first. Later on I'm sure he made some mention of how we had a far better run with the umpiring ?? huh WTF ??

Thought the umpiring again was pretty bias last night and not towards us.

Not happy with centimeter perfect last night and there was nothing "special" about the call as Bruce's voice had broke.

Lloyd had the Dogs as his Premiership favourites. They are now 3-3.

Some of their "oldies" are not the players they were.

Anthony Hudson laughed at him when he made that call, I just scratch my head how he predicted anyone could win by that margin in that kind of low scoring game?[/u]

I don't normally notice the commentators but you couldn't help but pick up that Darcy only seemed to have anything to say if he could talk about the Dogs. Did he mention the Saints at all?
And I like Dennis Cometti but to forget that Milne kicked one of the greatest goals of all time last week is unforgiveable.

Expect him to be vocal on "one week at a time" as he bags St Kilda and their playing style, the club is going to cop it externally a lot this week...

Not that it matters

Lloyd could well be the most stupid person on the planet. Even my brother in law who is/was a die hard bombers fan thinks he is an absolute moron.

How he got a job making comments on national tele is testimony to the "it's not what you know but who you know" sentiment. Apparently the network bosses think we'd rather look at a pretty face than have comment with substance.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Had a good chat with Barry Young a while back and he said plainly and frankly that he was a completely moron and it was all about Matthew Lloyd.

When you look at Lloyd, you can see he has no brain.

His eyes have the glazed over look. Staring into nothing.

What a moron.

Right on, VietNam Saint. D. Cometti saying S. Milne was "goalless last week",
after the little terrier had kicked one of the contenders for goal of the year,
was baffling. More homework Den! And love your work-rate Milney.

Still learning the game of football.

He should be made to wear L plates so everyone knows to stay clear of him.
