At the begining of the Fox telecast of the game against the Dogs they showed a StKilda fan going up to "Bomber" Thompson,who was sitting there to watch the game begin. He sits down besides Thompson,gets out his phone and takes a happy snap.

Why would a StKilda fan want a photo taken with the coach of the team that
we just lost a GF to!!!!!!!!!!!. A ex player and coach that has no connection with the mighty Saints.

Thompson looked a bit surprised to have a StKilda fan want to be in a photo with him. Yes Thompson is a great (Premiership) coach and (Premiership) player,I respect him and he seems like a pretty good bloke whenever he is interviewed,I just wouldn't want a photo with him,but that's my thoughts.

On the other hand Mick Malthouse does have a connection with StKilda, and don't want my photo taken with him either!

Are you serious,you don't know the MM connection with the Saints?
Played 53 games with the Saints from 1972 to 1976,and was traded by
us to Richmond. Went on to become a Richmond Premiership player,
Footscray coach,West Coast Premiership coach and these days
Collingwood coach and all round tool :)
