Half Time

Time for a big roasting of all saints players by RL at half time

Terrible first half.

Carlton making the most of it while we are leaving it to too few.

If half our team had his heart we would be ahead by 10 goals!!!

Well, we are really finding it hard to take a mark in the forward line.
And many of our mids can lift.
We miss Roo in so many ways.
C'mon Saints!

forgot to say: Pleased to see jack Steven get two goals!!! Great stuff!

This team needs an almighty thunderous kick up the ass at half time. So many blokes know they are playing below their ability.

We need to invoke the spirit of Riewoldt for this one.

Who's tagging Dal? We're effectively one midfielder down with him out of the game.

An odd ommision for this game I thought. Averages near 6 tackles a game.

need to swing jimmy g/goddard forward, have them lead into space, or kosi do a decoy lead and then goddard takes their 2nd best defender.

also, seeing as dal is getting heavily tagged, play him out of the square or on the lead, and expose carrazzo's one on one skills.

need a LOT of players to lift!!

Time to bring in Stanley or McEvoy up forward. Need a target of some sort.

Looks that way. Our forward line is dysfunctional. Whether we like to admit it or not, we have no forward that can take a contested mark and hold it in our forward 50 since the great man went down. Koschitske is too slow, awkward, has no tank and gets bumped off the ball almost as easily as 'fairy-floss' Dawson.

Surely it is to late at half time but we should at least try. Does Stanley look like Kosi at all?

they are killing us at stoppages, and zoning off wont work against this mob as they will use the space and run.
THe question is do we have the pace to match their leg speed to go man on man.
RL has tipped the forward line upside down as our only "dangerous" forward is Milne who is working very hard. So far Raph and Zac have been rotated down there. Kosi is not even close to the player we are wishing he would be, so we can draw a line through his name.
Hayes is getting his hands on it but his effectiveness seems down, and he has been caught a couple of times. He is not getting any help from NDS, and no one can stop Judd.
It is going to be very tough from here.

Hence the strange Armo ommission. Is he injured? He didn't play that badly last week.

good idea playing NDS out of the goalsquare I recon
they have to do something
Kozi is a huge diappointment as the only target down there , too predictable and easiliy gang spoiled

A good few have to step up 2nd half if we are to get anywhere near them by the finish

Certainly not injured. Lacks a defensive side to his game but yes should have played. We need as many mids as possible. Far to many backs this week. One thing with RL he likes structures but tonight we went one to many talls down back.

They have 7 goals, 7 behinds from turnovers.

We need to tighten the hell up.

Damn annoying.

Some very uncharacteristic errors.

Long way to go though.

Get ready for the mass influx of carlton trolls here tonight.......oh boy :!:

We've lost our mojo completly as a side, and only due to the dogs ineptness last weekend covering up some big problems.
