Fairly spot on there I think.

Unfortunatly are depth is nowhere near as good as some suggest,so we don't have too many options. God help us if we get a few injuries

Our depth is rubbish so dropping players won't achieve anything.

Trading bad players for bad players? Something else needs to be done.

If Kosi plays next week, we may as well coat him in cement and anchor him in the goalsquare.

Kosi to permanent ruck, drop king. Bring in someone who can provide a marking target forward.

Our gameplan relies on people who can take marks a) with the flight of the ball, and b) after a long hard run.

Sad to say but our best player running around with Sandy is Tommy Walsh, and he is nowhere near ready for senior footy yet.

Important not to look at tonight in isolation.

Over the course of the last twelve months most of these guys have earnt some browny points.

Those players that have struggled all year or at least in most games and need to go IMHO are

King
Dawson
Schneider
Geary
Clarke
Kosi
McQualter

How many go depends on how many guys we have in form at Sandy

Would help if McEvoy got a kick at VFL level.

True junior but with king injured you would think unless ross is prepared to give kosi a fair go in the ruck mcevoy will be playing next week

This leads me to day "Where is the forwards development scheme"?

We need to invest in our players from Sandy and take the risk. Goddard is needed in the middle. Fisher needed to have a job tonight like DalSanto and several others.

I'm not a huge rap for Armo but he was needed tonight. Our midfield has a lack of players to shovel out the ball to create opportunity. Thats why Ball was good, he took th hits and allowed others to grow.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

He hardly touched it. Yes he kicked 2 goals but you need a mid to get it a bit more. Probably get another chance but he is a very good chance to be omitted.

King out
Mc Evoy in

Kosi to the ruck and occasionally up forward, same with McEvoy

King is a superior ruckman to McEvoy, but Mac can play up forward and has pretty good mobility.

We must have another lead-up forward who can take a mark. Kosi isolated in the forward line as the only marking forward is being serously exploited by opposition running derfenders. I don't care is Stanley has been playing average football for the Zebras. At least the oppositionb have got thier work cut out covering a quick and agile 202cm player. They can't double team Kosi then!

Sadly, we have very few midfielders in our researves that can offer us something.

So....

Who do you think can give us that extra run?

You have to admit that Kosi as the only tall forward just doesn't work for us.

Maybe Peake has to come back in also.

I know he's been ordinary, but we need to find some run from somewhere.

i agree time to give some players a scare...

If they dont play Kosi in the ruck he should be first to go, followed by King, Clarke & Dawson.

Make our backline play accountable football - put Gram and Goddard up forward. Play Schneider, Steven and Ray in the middle and change up our rotations.

SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!
