We've drawn a Heyne in the sand.

I hope so!

Also thinking BJ might play more permanently forward from here on.

Good luck to Heyne, hope he has a great game.
Incidently, has Ben McEvoy played in a losing St.Kilda side yet?

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Would have thought Heyne is more of a third tall, he's only 187cm

Good team, shame about raph but hopefully he comes back better. Having the three rucks and two medium forwards means we should have a better structure this week. Very happy with the team

Three changes - two unforced.

That hasn't happend for about 18 months!

Dunno about Raph being dropped, but good to see Heyne have a go.

Anyone of the forwards will be fair game if we lose....

can't wait to see if they prevail or if they're inept,if it's the latter, they can always blame the midfield.....

Saints looking like a bottom 4 team in 2024.

Great. Against a superfast Bombers outfit we bring in two lumbering giants and a treacle-slow midfielder. And leave out the winner of the Grand Final sprint.

Is 187cm a lumbering giant now...wow that means that half the afl is made up of lumbering giants

Also stanley may be quick but that doesnt mean he gets an automatic selection, he hasnt done anything to earn his spot yet.

GOOD LUCK TO HEYNE :)

Who are the two lumbering giants? Heyne or Armitage. Have you been watching Sandy play? I haven't but by all reports Stanley has been doing next to nothing. I don't care how fast they are, I want blokes in the team who are confident AND in form. I reckon it's a good move. Stevens was poor last week and so was Raph, so they both go. That's what transparent selection is all about. Armo deserves another go and Heyne deserves a chance as well. McEvoy was an obvious choice.

Perhaps you would rather Raph gets another chance ? Armo in is what we need to help Lenny,Big Mac in the ruck and Heyne creates up forward...seems like a good fit to me .

heyne has vbeen alot better then stanley who works in short bursts. Heyne is also able to work hard both ways. Knows how to take a mark and kick goals. Perfect player for our line up. Add the rucks rotating through the forward line and BJ we have a better looking forward line.

Good selection for mine, we need a couple of more natural forwards.
Good luck to the young man.
