I thought Milne played brilliant. He has come under alot of criticism for his interstate travel but i thought he was our most dangerous forward all day. Stood up when the heat was on and when West Coast were starting to get a roll on

Yeah, the Milnedog was really good value. Kicking goals from the impossible angles. Love it!

A lot of ignorant football supporters forget the fact that a lot of small forwards dont get that kind of output over that period of time, credit has to go to the little tip rat!!! He will end his career somewhere betweeen 50-100 ALL TIME GOAL KICKERS!

A big finals series (provided we make it of course) and people's perceptions of him will change significantly. Unfortunately his "big games" haven't been on the same level.

if he is on 197 games and doesn't miss the next two then by my terrible maths it will be his 200th that day. Awesome effort for a guy who came up through the extended list and rookie list

I think that Milney is just beginning to mature as a footballer, which is odd given that he is thirty.

The thing I love about Milne, is the fact that other supporters seem to loathe him.

played a practice match in london for the bombers and was on their sup list from memory.

Only player I have ever seen getting a standing ovation as he was being dragged. Jumped and kicked a goal midair when he could have either marked it or let it go through. Coach wasn't happy and dragged him. Small crowd at the VFL match stood up and clapped him off.

Yes he is much more complete and mature footballer now.

In the first half up thought I thought he was a real leading light when the team was struggling.

Milney plays in hardest spot on the ground, people too often judge him on his goal tally, he is a freak that wins us many games... what makes him even better is that every other club supporter hates him with a passion... thats makes him even better!!!!!

Wrote him off pre-season....mainly an age thing (30) and thought we had kids more flexible..

He has taken on extra responsibility since Roo went down and has been VG as our main goalkicker....kept us in it with Lenny against WC...is having yet another good season...

a good final or two and he will go down as one of our best ever fwds....perhaps our best/seond best small fwd.....fair accolade

underrated buy opposition supporters due to hatred

Who is the other small forward you would have up with him?

Maybe this year?

anyone ever found a list of players who would have played 200 games and kicked 400 goals- and he could do both on the same day

Now 4th highest goal kicker at the saints
and Number 11 total games played for the saints.

How far away from getting in the top 10 games played Brat, thats amazing, we have seen 3 300ths in the last decade and yet all time only 10 guys have played 200.

Would be a great result to be top 10 games and top 5 goals for a small forward who came off the rookie list.

Maybe this year?
