Superb game, reminiscent of that game a few years ago where Dal Santo snared 5 himself.

Hayes was "quiet" with only 27 today.

Outstanding, very proud right now. Now if another steps up next week we will be hitting great form going to the freo and cats games. Maybe Dal Santo to annihilate the Tigers to complete the domination of the midfield.

Agree, it was a delight to watch. I'd like to see every player to back themselves once they are 45-50 out, providing there is no loose player ahead of them in a better position.

agree they should play the percentages. if they think they can boot it then have a ping by all means. better to do that than to go to riewoldt because that is what they always do.

His first three goals were from playing as a forward pocket

Thought it good coaching to rotate both Dal and Joey through the forward line. Made the difference on a night where we couldnt take a contested mark in our fwd 50 if our lives depended on it

I said a few weeks agao that getting plenty of the ball is great but we need him to put his stamp on a game and really win it for us before he can be considered elite. Now he has done that.

Next to join him there will be Dal. Whenever you're ready Dally boy!

Considering Joey kicked 8 goals 19 behinds last year, to kick 5 in a game was brilliant. He now has 9 for the year and needs to build on that because a goal kicking mid is priceless at the pointy end of the season. Well done Joey!
