he showed his emotion maybe calais- and that incident obviously did hurt...

well done Milney- for someone NOT generally in the spotlight in that fashion and who doesn't profess to be interested in doing so...

Hutchy asking the questions
thanked Ramanaskus for putting his name forward to Essendon as a rookie very proud to have played 200 games for the saints

understands he is loved and hated..

asked about how he feels being percieved as a pest- not the only one out there," doesn't say anything others also say"

the more the crowd give it to him he will throw a kiss or celebrate a goal

what they say, what would he say to the cheersquads- "think about it - if your parents or children would cringe maybe don't say it".

did it hurt- 'yes it did ofcourse it did'- felt more for his family than himself

MM sent an email- asked had he forgiven him; he got a little confused - but my impression was NO he hasn't
"in his opinion what happens between players on field stays on field but coaches and administrators and staff should stay out of it."

But it's been dealt with and he's moved on - the clubs dealt with it the afl dealt with it
Now Concentrating on playing his 200th for the Saints.

Didnt think he did himself any favors, interview was from the heart and I am sure everything said was fair and reasonable but i dont think he should have let Hutchy suck him in to talking about the Malthouse incident specifically. Had the moral high ground, should have left it at that and spoken about the 200th more IMO.

Mentally strong little fella, no doubts there. Pound for pound for what he has extracted from his career he is one of our greats IMO.

Get stuck into em this week Milney.

To say words of that sort face to face and then not have the courage and dencency to apologize at the very least in voice just shows what a gutless being Mick malthouse is.

I hope he gets he's one day.

See my sig

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

He showed that Malthouse is a liar and a bigot and cannot stand up for himself. Well done Yapper.

spot on.

what a gutless, small minded squib Malthouse is. For a man who so often espouses his military love.....its obvious he's learnt little about honour.

Yeah he did, just dont know if he needed to?

The football public know that malthouse overstepped the line and then acted poorly trying to cover up, not many in the media have had the courage to speak up and tell it how it is. Says a lot about the charachter of a lot of footballs so called hard hitting journalists and shows that there is still a pecking order in this town that is controlled by certain clubs and identities.

To me Milne has now given them a way to talk about this incident again with out actually having to have there own opinion on it. They can just say Stephen milne said this or Stephen Milne thinks that! but thats not my opinion Eddy/Mick whoever?

I liked the fact that he showed that he is human after all. He mentioned how he was more upset with how the abuse and especially the MM incident affected his parents and in particular his 8 year old son. Its a reminder that all players are also someones son and that many are parents as well so their kids have to cope with it too. Makes you think about the abuse some of them cop (Milney in particular) and how that must affect those closest to him. I liked that he showed that side of himself. I think that gets lost sometimes with elite sport.

I'm sure he would of set an agenda if there was any no-go zones.

My only criticism is the poor choice of interviewer...

?
I think the TFS set him up to be sensational.

I mean he did an interview to be played on the weekend to celebrate his 200th game and career.....and all the low-life headline chasing Hutchy wants to showcase on THF is the controversial part...along with him being a "pest".

Why not celebrate his football..his glorious goals etc etc..

Not Hutchy has to showcase the crap part..

Exactly - I wonder if he thought he let the ANZACS down by not having the courage to apologise in person.

Malthouse has an inferiority complex and his true colours were shown on that disgraceful night with first his actions and then he cowardly denials.

the man should have been sanctioned by the AFL for bringing the game into disreputre.

A disgrace
