1992 we shifted a game at Moorabbin to the MCG v Collingwood. There were 80,000 at that,it was a lockout and people were turned away

We would've budgetted for a huge profit from this game, dunno home many $$$ but fairly significant.

A crowd well below budget will have a big effect on our end of year results *UNLESS we win the flag of course!

Should've got about 5K more IMO even given the rain.

Had it been a fine day and night, we would've got 70K I reckon.

The cost to the club's profit is probably about $100K.

But the 4 points are pretty handy!
