Team v Port

Blake Gwilt Gilbert
Gram Fisher Dempster
Ray Hayes Peake
Goddard Stanley Stevens
Milne Riewoldt Eddy

Foll: McEvoy, Dalsanto, Schneider

Inter: Kosi, Geary, A. Smith, Lynch

In: Eddy, Stanley & A. Smith
Out: Montagna (nose), Dawson (hand), Gardiner (rest),

Monty could play however given his nose injury is a good time to rest him.

Big risk leaving Gardiner out but also needs a rest!

Throw Kosi into ruck to free him up and help us with our mobility around the forward line.

Stevens, Lynch & Geary hold their place due to lack of options.

Alistair SMITH to debut and go through forward/midfield rotations.

Players won't miss for a nose.

Dal didn't.

Quite like your team though.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Yeah you are right - if it was a final he would play, but I reckon he needs a rest adn it would be good timing !

We arent at the stage any player can be rested so if Joey doesnt play he will be injured but it isnt going to be a nose.

Out
Zac Geary
In
CJ Smith

Gives us a bit more run having 2 smalls in for a tall and small.

PA are a VERY tall side at present.

If there was a week that you would not want Zac out injured it would probably be this week.

While not alone Geary was one of the star turn-over kings last game.

However a player or two different will not make much difference unless the whole team lifts.

Totally agree with these changes.
Also Joey isnt going to miss with a broken nose, Dal didnt and if he does then he needs to toughen the hell up.

Sorry I forgot CJ - agreed Geary out for CJ.

Joey doesn't have a broken nose he sliced it open on a boot from the bridge to below the tip and had about 12 stitches in it. Big difference to a broken nose !

Exactly what I think. And seeing as Ross said earlier he would look at smalls, and those from Sandy performing well, I see that A Smith is very much in the mix.

Lock it in.

A bit of plaster on the tip will fix him up

Another opportunity awaits!
