Oh and I guess we have been somewhat "lucky" that 6, possibly 7 of those that played last night were rookies at some stage.

Never underestimate the value of your rookies.

for sure. collingwood have been able to afford a full rookie list for longer than any other club, so this isn't surprising.

the saints have had a full rookie list for a few years, and currently have dawson, eddy, geary, jones, mcqualter who've come off the rookie list - simpkin and miles are the other two thereabouts in a similar place.

there's no doubt that collingwood's depth is better than st kilda's, and i'd suggest that's pretty much entirely about the amount of money spent on the footy department.

you also have to remember that collingwood hs more money then most. they have to spend it somewhere. don't they have 10 or more coaches?. if you have5 development coaches and the other team only has 1 development coach, who is going to win out?

Indeed..I don't know why we have to put up with this gloating Pie Troll who of late keeps coming onto OUR forum to tell us how good the Pies are, and why they are better than us....and who also had the hide to call us the "Aints" on our own forum??

The better the Pies have gone this year the more this Pie has trolled here.

I don't care if he once was a reasonable poster or not.

In the here and now he is a Pie trolling on a St Kilda Forum.
