Stanley at FB?
Hey everyone. Fist post here but I'm just wondering if this has ever been discussed. Stanley at full back - is it a possibility?
He's fast, tall, similar to Dawson in a lot of ways. Maybe something to try next year? Thoughts?

BigMart wont like it. According to him Stanley down back is the most ridiculous idea since invading Russia in the winter

This guy will become a very good player for us..he just needs a few pre-seasons....and more games.
He has certainly taken to the role with relish now, that is for sure.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

Re: Stanley at FB?
Looks to finally be in a position that allows him to settle into the game.
His pace off backline could be a huge asset.
Hope they stick with it - he is certainly a Fletcher type with after burners.

Re: Stanley at FB?
I hope Stanley spends some time back and like Roo and Kosi goes fwd and becomes a top shelf fwd/Ruckman
He needs continuity of footy ATM though

Re: Stanley at FB?
He now takes the tallest or most potent forward whether that's FB or CHB. He's not suited to the forward line but can pinch hit in the ruck if needed.
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Not sure we're playing anyone as a traditional full back.matrix wrote:???
stanley isnt a fullback is he?
In fact, not many sides do.
Team defence, all the way.
