Elshaug Returns to Coach's Box - Take 2

Post: # 983293Post sainta »

I noticed the other post topic for this won't open for many as a few hundred have "viewed" and no one has commented.

It was great to read he was back in there helping out on the weekend and will do for the rest of the finals series.

Also puts to bed all those that attacked Lyon over Elshaug going.......implying that there was something negative in it rather than "personal reasons".

Lyon is a class act.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

I'd love it if you changed your av pic!

It was sort of funny the first time I saw it on TV, but having to see that on here everytime you post just annoys me!

Any chance of you changing it to something positive?

PLEASE

Sometimes you get the impression that assistant coaches aren't really so passionately involved with the club. As if they merely do it on a professional level (or a work experience level) without any emotion.

So it is great to see that Ross's right-hand-man feels passionate enough about St Kilda to come out of 'retirement' and give us a helping hand when it really matters most.

I agree, with elshaug and SOS it has been implied that Ross is difficult to work with, when the reasons given at the time were the truth

I love this club

Media can't understand the Truth- they are used to looking for conspiracy theories where there aren't any.

to me the Saints have been prone to telling the truth or nothing...

One of the real footy stories of the year and says a lot about our club and our coach.

and if you heard Ross on the On the Couch, he also stated that he was ready to play even up to the time of being in the rooms on firday night. is he not allowed to change his mind at the last minute?

It also sounded like Bakes pulled the pin and not Ross anyway.
