Would be very, VERY high on the list for the Essendon Gig.

His resume is pretty fkn outstanding.

Pffffft.

As if you would be remotely concerned about travelling to Seaford from Essendon.... Club probably pays for the fuel and tolls anyway.

And it's not like you'd be bouncing around on the bench seat of your EK Holden.

I dont know about you but 3 hours travelling a day doesnt sound great especially if you are offerred better money or prospects elsewhere and closer to home.

Not ideal I know.

But for most career people better to drive an hour or so to a good job than walk/cycle to a bad (or lesser) one.

Sorry I am off on another tangent.

assistant coaches.... you have to win em and wear em ...then maybe sack them or hold them...

now if you have been deemed to be a reasonably successful club the past couple of years .its a matter of holding on to them against poorer performed clubs attracting them ..

I recon we have good runs on the board of later seasons , minus the ultimate prize that is .....

so others are looking closely at our Well schooled Asssistants to grab!!

And the co-opting of mere ex-players FOR Assistant Coaches a la Harves and Maxy prove the point here

so we end up more IN he market for replacements as due circumstances take effect

Don't hold your breath on Harves. I just noticed this in Letters to Michael:

http://www.saints.com.au/season2009/new ... fault.aspx

Going by Ross's warm praise for Elshaug on the weekend, let's hope he's had the break he needed and can stick around.

Our little trojan horse has worked a treat, helping Carlton reach mid table mediocrity.

You work is done! Come home son!
YES! The cards of fate are falling - the favourite son, the Seaford Son - its timely for his return!

LT is the reason why Kosi has become a good kick.
Like SoS he has done all he can and a great job.
It's now time for Banger to come back.
Ratts can go suck a dog IMHO.

Harvey loves working a Carlton because he knows he can have September off

Another opportunity awaits!

Totally agree.

Why would you choose that if you had an alternative? Most likely a better opportunity for him personally as well.

That would be pretty silly, wouldn't you think?

i reckon the role of assistant coaches should only be about 2-3 seasons after that i think u need to bring in a fresh set of eyes and a fresh set of ideas otherwise the team can become a bit stale .... in the past St Kilda just sacked the coah insted of rotating assistants :)
