Post: # 995720Post Seaford_Saint »

I don't want to miss a minute of the whole experience.

Does anyone have a link to the pre-match entertainment details?

Thanks

quite pathetic of the AFL, it's like they don't want to tell anyone until the day.

But it will be in the papers on Saturday, and in the record.

Maybe it's a ploy by the AFL to get you to pre-purchase the record, which is on sale now (non-match day edition of course!).

I think the earliest thing is the GF Sprint heats and they start at 11.45 I read somewhere.

Not sure if that's accurate, but that's what I've read.

Can't miss the pre game warm up!! It is part of my routine every game never to miss it. Saturday is not the day to start messing with the routine.

I believe they are the Australia's got talent father and son duo that made the finals, so effectively it's a channel 7 push for another show I guess.

Jonesy, my Mum and I messed with our routine last year and we lost, so we are banking on keeping it all same same this year.

just like a wedding- where do you put Great Uncle Bob with his wandering hands and second Cousin Ruth with That Hair do....
The build-up to the grand final will see three retiring Bulldogs and three retiring Crows farewell the game. The dilemma of where to seat Jason Akermanis, along with Crows Tyson Edwards and Andrew McLeod, in the two-man cars has been left to the clubs. Also farewelling the game are Bulldogs' champions Brad Johnson and Nathan Eagleton, and the Crows' outgoing captain Simon Goodwin. Tom Harley and Matthew Richardson will also ride in the motorcade after retiring at the end of last season.

The pre-game entertainment will focus on previous grand finals contested by the two clubs. Organisers hope to have Collingwood's last premiership captain Tony Shaw appear before the match, and that an ailing Lou Richards will be well enough to attend the game.
