Dals goal

Post: # 999312Post Sainter_Dad »

We won by 5 points. Have a look at the replay people - The Goal umpire guessed.

Yup. Just watched it. While there wasn't any high-speed replay of it I'm 99% sure that was a goal.

HOWEVER

You can hardly blame the goal umpire for it. I didn't even realise it wasn't until I actually rewatched it closely.

I have watched it several times - no way it was touched.....

I copied the game in case of stuff like this. I first thought this was touched but will review it again and give 2 cents worth.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Did he actually kick it? Watching it in slow motion his boot comes through but the ball stays behind and then a few frames later the ball comes through. Think it may have come off a Collingwood player.

Dal didn't seem upset so the call was probably right.

Just had a look. Dal missed the ball and it was hit through. Correct decision as suggested by dals reaction.
