Interesting they made it sound like Sydney were keen to move him on and hinted that salary cap is the reason.

Dan said he was confident the saints would be playing finals in a few years and named all the players he sees as stars (Membrey, Gresham, Stuv and Hunter Clarke). Also that being 10 minutes from Elwood was "handy" and the facilities are outstanding. Good that Moorabbin is having some affect on players decisions.

At least he is sounding positive about the move but I will reserve judgement until is see the cost and length of contract. Not saying he will not improve the team but will he improve it $800k worth?
