23 posessions. 6 tackles. 8 contested posessions.
Games 24. 2nd year.
Yep. Developing so poorly.

Probably very critical but looked to be just holding onto the ball a fraction too long tonight. Played very well but just noticed that a few times.

Really looking the part, Coff moving in the right direction as well.

Clark looks to have cemented a spot and Coffield on the way to doing so.

Coff has a bit of the Eel Robbie Elphinstone about him.

What?

Had his handball smothered a few times rather than a quick release. It was like he was over confident. Played very well though.

Probably made the biggest moment in the game with that steal and run through the middle when the game was in the balance ....showed class right there

If only he had banged it on the boot straight away instead of holding on and trying to actually use it!

Bit over always waiting for players to develop.

Give me a Parker 23 year old over all this waiting shyte.

Effing over it.
Patience.

Overall Clark was good. Inspirational stuff from him at times. You can forgive a second year player who is 19 for a couple of clangers or mistakes. Wtf was Savage's excuse? Thought Savage turned it over and had his disposals smothered way many times tonight

At the moment, Coff is vulnerable one out to his direct opponent.

Melbourne capitalised on that tonight and directed play through his opponent... Harmes and Petracca played though him at times.
Still a bit unsure of where to run.

Composed with the ball tonight and will be better for the experience. Keep playing him.

Never seen a player become such a revelation in such a short space of time. Hunter Clark was just borderline just 4 weeks ago, now you wouldn't dream of leaving him out of the side.....well done young man, you've got plenty of footy ahead of you!

I would hate to see Coff get dropped for Battle as he's also developing nicely and gaining more confidence with every game.

I read a post on here 12 months ago declaring he was our best player.

He hasn't come good in a short time at all.

His output has increased clearly, but that's merely due to him being able to play to his strengths.

There's a balance, Ross is starting to hold it longer and it is helping him. Hunter will be a match winner for us, and it won't be too far away

Yeah for sure. It was just notable on a few occasions Saturday night.

The fact that Hunter is hanging onto the ball longer is why he has stepped up the last few weeks. He is making considered decisions rather than just bombing away!

Yeah makes a big difference. He does it, Acres does it, and Seb started doing it on the weekend too, which showed in his performance.

My guess is that Ratts has been hot on this with several players since he became head coach. Ross in particular is clearly now concentrating on better ball use. Getting it to better spots and not using the long-bomb like he was doing routinely.

First game against the Dees Ross waiting too long a couple of times while he was adjusting to this play style, but against the Dogs he had it down pat.
