I agree with most of what’s posted here but the 2 rucks approach is really not popular on this forum...

Quite a few feel Acres in the ruck is a Richo mastersroke and that it’s simply not feasible.

I think Marshall needs help

Acres in the ruck is a Richo desperation move.

It would be better to not even send someone up to contest the ruck then let smaller bodied mids get continually smashed by 100kg+ ruckman.

it matters little what we think or write here - but more importantly it isnt popular in the coaches box - and twp rucks never has been
And i dont get the mentality- teams cant afford to send in a crap on-ball unit in order to rest the best players. They are rotated and mixed according to the ebb and flow of the game
So if someone could explain to me and the rest of us the benefits of robbing our key position attack/defence player
or worse -play Acres as ruck - when they are just not up to playing ruck.

Because when I look at the better sides - most have another @200cm player to fill in ruck duties
