OK, in theory.
But how do you achieve success quickly with our list?

Our list isn't that bad, it's just not good at the moment.
Firstly hunt for a coach/coaches that can get the best out of players with a game plan or two, that's not Richo
Stop drafting players in one position. And hoping they become guns Ina different one. HBF ffs
Season is gone for mine so get games into fringe playets. Not saying play them All at once but we got them let's see them play
Cut list cloggets
Stop playing fVourites. Two crap weeks equals zebras

Beveridge is contracted until the end of 2020 so he would have to break his contract (at least by mutual agrrement) with Bulldogs to come

.we would have to wait until 2022 for the Bont to come though

Thanks Tony. The difficult thing with this situation is, if Alan is aware, which I'm sure he is, can we expect his full commitment to the role?
I actually don't think it matters to be honest. If what we've had to date is full commitment ... would a 10% to 30% drop-off really have any meaningful effect?

Our list is not that bad, overall - but it's a bottom 6 list.

Regardless of who is coaching ---
We need to recruit more selectively from now on (and stop drafting players in one position as you say - especially average ones) and start landing A grade midfielders or up and coming elite midfielders entering their prime.
Sell them on our new facilities, wine and dine them, flash a few extra notes in front of them, etc..

If Richo is going (which I agree has to happen), the club should get rid of him now, let Ratt's coach the remainder of the season and see what he can show us. It will answer the question one way or another at the end of the day whether he is a good fit fulltime or not.

The Club needs to take action now!

I can see Richo asking his managers, TLA Worldwide, about putting his name forward for the Blues and Norf vacancies.
He thinks his powerpoint presentation can be tweaked, but his shameful record speaks for itself.

IMHO, Richo will never get another head coaching gig. He might get a Director of Coaching or something else
in the back-room, because of all his impressive qualifications, such as that Hawaiian Diploma, etc, that Power paid for...
His 33% win stat is the fly in the ointment, same with his contention that he is a great "developer of talent".

In 6 years, Gresh is the only real A Grader, but Gresh was born to be A Grade.
Carlisle (you could argue about his A Gradeness) was already a really good player.

Billings and Acres have just gone hot and cold over the journey and have yet to show any consistency, or be
reliable match-winners, in the style of Patrick Cripps of the Blues. Or The Bont.

I don't believe any other club will let Richo get near the players.
Just my opinion, and I could be way off the mark.

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤🤍🖤 and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

I can however start the rumour mill going by telling you we have certain members of our club who have shared a coffee with two senior coaches and one assistant coach. And I’m pretty certain that that’s the least I know. Our President May appear meek and mild but he does not accept mediocrity.
Actually we reward underperforming forward coaches....and 100% accept mediocrity .
In 2018 Aaron Hamill got the gig as head coach at Sandringham as a reward with his amazing development over four years from 2012 - 2017 turning our forward line into the unstoppable force it is today. He has already built a legacy with the Zebras with his incredible wins and strategy.

I think it matters. It's not the drop off in Richos ability that worries me. It's not a great look for developing talent to have the person driving the bus without their eyes on the road.

Just imagine if we make the finals and win a game! Long shot I know but it would make the whether Alan continues scenario very, very interesting like a Hollywood thriller.

I'm also starting to think Alan might not be coaching in 2020.

Sam Mitchell?

If not then why not?

Sam Mitchell should be the top priority!
Only 2 years experience as an Assistant, that's why not.

Not ready. If they decide to move on Richo at season's end, I would personally want an expierenced coach that is hard and will put a rocket up a few of our next gen stars.

The legend of Ted doesn’t quite hold a candle to the legend of Parkey though 😉

Let the nincompoops think what they like Ted. Some just aren't too bright so they love a good conspiracy theory or two. As for who coaches the Saints, I guess they won't make the call until finals are out of the question. Who it will be I have no idea, but I do know the president will pay what it takes to get who he wants.

Parkey also used to love trying to predict Saint victories which ended in thrashings. Parkey was also convinced others were stalking him / her.

Just saying...and if saying so gets me a ban, then so be it.
