I think Dal might have grown up supporting the Bombres.

Fantastic!!!

This is what I've been waiting for. A chance to trade with those Dreamon idiots. Why should the Skunks have all the fun(?)

Tezza, TDL and Owl for pick 2.

I'd rather keep Dal... use the first 4 picks on the PSD.
Fisher for Bruce.
Delaney somehow has to fit, not sure how.

Don't want Myers, don't get me started with Crameri, most over hyped crap player, I can't believe people want Cremeri...

To be fair, he was playing very well before his knee injury this year. We were a much better side when he played this year. His form and confidence came back. Hopefully stays that way.

Trade winds state we are more than happy to take Delaney in the PSD. Which I think we should.

All I keep reading is that Norf wont deal with us unless we do what they want and release Dal so they can take him through free agency. They can't use pick 8 and refuse to trade us 26. We are trying to keep the Dal talks separate from anything involving Delaney which is smart. I'd say we start entertaining approaches from teams like Essendon so Norf's hand gets forced. They may even pay overs to avoid losing out.

Actually liked Emma Quayle's Darren Jolly - back up ruckman /ruck coach

Think that a very good option for next year myself. :D

Apparently Brissie and the Adelaide clubs need a third party to make the Polec deal happen:

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/p ... 6737049857

Pelchen likes a good three-way, so maybe we'll be involved? How about:

Armitage to Brisbane
Polec to Crows/Power
promising young Crows/Power player to Saints

Options? I don't know their lists very well but there must be someone young enough who's vaguely attractive? Luke Thompson was rated a year or so ago, I thought. Weren't Lyons and Pittard linked with returns home? Kerridge or Grigg? Dangerfield? (joke)

Seems like we'd want a pick upgrade as part of it but Brissie wouldn't contribute that, so it would need to be from the Crows or Power. Any chance of this happening?

What would Giles be worth? I'd prefer someone like him over Jolly as backup if he came just as cheap.
Especially if it helped prize a quality kid out of GWS along the way in a multi trade?

3rd rounder considering Hampson went for 2nd round 28?

I bought a shirt from Target once.
It had a hard tag on it too.

I know how Dal feels.

Agree Armo top 5 in the B and F and well up across all mid field stats and a couple of 30 plus best on grounds and we swap him for a slice of cake and a guy who struggles at SANFL level.

God no. Armo would need to get us pick 2 from melbourne to even slightly consider trading him.

Armo = 5th in B & F.
Owl = 11th.

Admittedly ruckmen are rarer but we would want at least a top 10 for Armo for sure. (Or Adams, Shiel).
Pick 2 would definitely get it done.
Anything outside a pick 10 or equivalent forget it.
Although why are we talking about Armo anyway?

Yeah, fair point, it would only happen if we felt we wanted to trade Armo out for off-field reasons - which was mooted a couple of weeks ago. Otherwise we may as well hang onto him. He's never going to be a superstar but he's solid enough.

He'd be a great get for the tiges…

I hope he stays, he's one of our most important players on the list right now, though I would have said the same about McEvoy yesterday too

A top 10 pick might be enough to let Armo go…

Has he really been a naughty boy? Or does he just have naughty friends?

So WHO are the player/s and club Mr Pelchen & Bains are going to use to squeeze another 1st round draft pick out of? IMO it looks most likely to be GWS...

GWS will get Collingwood's pick 10 or 11 for ADAMS, hence they will have a plethora of early picks.

Pelchen has at this time discounted Armitage being traded, so we really have NO other expendable players that have that sort of value?

The way it looks it will have to be a package deal of player/s and a higher draft pick eg. 19 & Dal Compensation 23 & Fisher for GWS picks 9, 10 or 11 & Bruce.

I believe if GWS agree to this then the club would let Dal Santo go to Free Agency and on trade that selection to GWS.

Apart from Armitage we don't really have any other expendable players that would warrant a 1st round selection.

So basically once the Compensations are announced we will be extremely active in trade again !
