I liked the idea of Keath but oh well, two out of three (so far) ain’t bad. Hopefully Logan Austin and Robbo come good.

So their pitch goes, something like,

"we played finals this year. We are adding Josh Bruce to our forward 50 which makes us a 2 - 3 goal better team when you combine his output with improvment from Naughton. With you shoring up the backline, we would expect to go deep into September barring injuries"

Our pitch goes like this ..

"weve got lots of money, weve got a new coach, and did I mention we got lots of money ?"

Life is never more fun than when you're the underdog competing against the giants.

Well so far our pitch has been that we will set your up for retirement:

1/ Worked well Hill as he has already won premierships (and great pick-up for us)
2/ Worked with Paddy. Though gaining Hill helped
3/ With Keath I suspect Doggies offered him more over longer
4/ We were not prepared to offer Bruce what the Doggies were. Plus greater chance of a good next year for Bruce
5/ Worked a treat with Hanna as no one else wanted him
6/ Kent just delighted that another club wanted him

We need gun midfielders
We have decent backs and many options now with both Roberton and Wilkie back there.
Keath is excess to needs.

If we’ve missed out in Keath we should turn our interest toward Jake Lever as we obviously want an intercept marking defender.

Straight swap for Brandon White with maybe a 2nd or 3rd round coming back to us.

Apparently White is a better footballer than Lever so above should get done 😉
